About the Role
We are seeking a Maintenance Tech II to perform repairs, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment and systems. The position involves diagnosing equipment issues using blueprints, schematics, and testing instruments, assisting with emergency and non-emergency repairs, and working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and control systems.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and conduct repairs
- Perform safety checks on boilers and maintain chemical and wastewater systems
- Inspect, lubricate, and replace parts on machinery
- Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System
- Perform basic welding and other repair tasks
- Assist team members and perform duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; technical degree preferred
- At least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and maintenance literature
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures
- Physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
