About the role
The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for day-to-day maintenance including grounds work, plumbing, minor electrical work, basic carpentry, troubleshooting HVAC and food service equipment, wall repair, Building Engine PM, painting, special projects, and seasonal snow removal.
Schedule
- 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Availability for on-call rotation once per month
Pay
$24.40 – $29.00 per hour, based on experience and skill set.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read printed labels and instructions
- Minimum of three (3) years of maintenance experience
- Knowledge of building trades such as painting, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Hoisting License Certification or basic training certification in Building Maintenance
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Previous experience in Building Maintenance
- Experience with Building System software work order programs
Physical Abilities & Skills
- Frequent bending, standing, stooping, stretching, and lifting
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50 – 100 lbs. assisted), such as appliances and furniture
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders and access all areas of the buildings
- Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations
- Participate in the Emergency On-Call Rotation once per month
- Operate equipment and drive 12-passenger vans and box trucks for maintenance during winter season
