Maintenance Technician II

Location: Center Plaza Apartments, Beaverton, OR

About the role

CRMG is looking for a Maintenance Technician II to perform the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the buildings, landscaping, amenities, parking lot, and trash areas at the 185-unit apartment community of Center Plaza Apartments. Amenities include a fitness center and playground. The role involves essential maintenance duties including repairs, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, landscaping, and janitorial tasks under the guidance of experienced maintenance technicians. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, time management skills, and be comfortable managing work orders using technology.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily upkeep and cleanliness of buildings, landscaping, amenities, parking lot, and trash areas
• Perform repairs, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and janitorial tasks
• Manage work orders using technology
• Operate landscaping equipment and perform landscaping duties
• Handle janitorial tasks using manual and power equipment, including pressure washers and vacuum cleaners
• Perform drywall installation and repairs, flooring installation and repair, and appliance repair
• Respond to after-hours emergencies
• Adhere to landlord/tenant laws, State and Federal Labor Laws, Fair Housing Laws, and refrain from all illegal discrimination practices
• Run work-related errands using reliable transportation capable of transporting necessary tools

Requirements

• One (1) year in the Maintenance Technician I position or two (2) years of previous maintenance technician experience, preferably in property management for commercial or multi-family properties
• Intermediate knowledge of landscaping, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, drywall installation and repairs, and installation and repair of flooring
• Experience operating a pressure washer
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Knowledge and experience using janitorial equipment, both manual and power, and handling chemicals safely
• Available for after-hours emergencies
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with proof of insurance and a clean driving record
• Ability to read, write, and understand written and verbal communications and directions
• Bilingual skills in Spanish and English preferred
• Janitorial experience preferred
• Strong motivation, time management, and ability to follow instructions while working alone or as part of a team

Pay

Hourly Rate: $24.00–$29.00 per hour

Additional compensation: $50.00 monthly cell phone stipend and mileage reimbursement

Schedule

Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch

40 contracted hours per week
