What You Will Do
- Carry out advanced preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on conveyor systems and food production machinery to ensure reliable operation and minimize downtime.
- Perform complex mechanical repairs including shaft keying, sprocket broaching, gear head replacement, stainless steel welding, hydraulic hose fabrication, and belt maintenance using specialized tools and equipment.
- Assist with equipment setup, teardown, welding, fabrication, and installation of new or modified plant machinery to support production needs.
- Diagnose mechanical issues through observation, auditory assessment, and use of precision measuring instruments, and effectively identify and resolve root causes.
- Utilize SAP software to document maintenance activities, track work orders, and communicate effectively with production and operations teams to optimize workflow.
What You Will Bring
- A high school diploma or GED; a two-year degree in a specialized maintenance trade is preferred.
- 3+ years of related experience.
- Work different ranges of hours such as full-time, overtime, or weekend shifts.
- Basic to advanced mechanical knowledge, electrical, and building skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
