Maintenance Technician I (Tanglewood Park)

General Statement of Duties

Forsyth County's Parks and Recreation has an opening for Maintenance Technician I. This is a full-time opportunity to work outdoors at Tanglewood Park, located in western Forsyth County. The position involves performing a variety of tasks associated with park maintenance operations, including mulching, mowing, line trimming, backpack blowing, spreading gravel, repairing fencing, leaf removal, snow removal, trail maintenance, and general grounds maintenance tasks. The Maintenance Technician I will also interact with park patrons, providing information and instruction, and assisting with requests to ensure the park facilities are suitable for their intended use.

Minimum Education And Experience

• Graduation from high school or GED.
• One year experience in basic building or grounds maintenance work.
• A valid driver's license is required.
