About the role
Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician I - 3rd Shift to join our team in Beltsville, MD. The core hours are 11 pm - 7:30 am. The hourly rate for this position is $27.00 per hour + 10% shift differential. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Responsibilities
- Perform routine facilities maintenance
- Under direct supervision, perform entry level mechanical, electrical, repair, and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications
- Understand and follow technical standards and maintenance procedures
- Comply with all national and local safety and environmental standards, guidelines and policies
- Work independently and under limited supervision
- Assist in facilities maintenance projects as needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in maintenance
- Two (2) + years of experience in industrial maintenance, specifically CNC machining, metal working, and welding machines
Skills
- Complies with all national and local safety and environmental standards, guidelines and policies
- Ability to proactively work with other team members under limited supervision
- Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 12 hours with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to comprehend and follow technical standards and maintenance procedures
- Knowledge of operating lift truck, material handling equipment, man lifts, and hand tools
- Ability to lift 35 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
