- Effectively and safely operates standard maintenance tools
- Performs preventative maintenance work orders
- Conducts maintenance according to skill level and safety policies
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders
- Completes minor troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues
- Detects, documents, repairs, or replaces faulty equipment
- Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
- Follows prescribed safety rules and regulations
- Utilizes Microsoft Office for communication and scheduling
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Standard practices in maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical components
- Extensive knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Knowledge of PLC’s and conveyor systems
- Problem-solving using defined methodologies
- Organization and time management
- Hydraulic and pneumatic control systems
- HVAC and refrigerant system understanding
- Understanding of 3 Phase electrical, three phase motor controls, troubleshooting AC and DC drives
- Welding and fabrication
- Basic PLC operation, programs, and troubleshooting
- Complete mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical system repairs
- Take direction from Maintenance Manager and communicate effectively
- Issue and receive instructions using known guidelines
- Lead 'Best in Class' behaviors with focus on safety, quality, and policies
- Maintain harmonious working relations with employees from all departments and with management from all levels
- Must be 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completed or working on a 2-year trades degree and/or 4 years of plant maintenance experience
- Able to read, write, and speak English
- Bilingual capabilities are a plus
- Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office Suite and PM system tracking
- SAP experience preferred
- Primarily done on a manufacturing production floor
- Frequent production environment exposure including noise, dust, moving machinery, forklifts, and temperature fluctuations
- May be required to work weekend and night hours
- Ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds
- Team environment - must work well with others and communicate respectfully and professionally
- Level I: $30.90/hr.
