Maintenance Technician I (1st Shift) $10,000 First Year Sign-On Bonus

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance tasks per work orders assigned
• Understand how to work safely and speak up when you do not
• Collaborate and build relationships with team members at the plant
• Learn and apply new technology and share your knowledge with others

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 2 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Able to effectively use computer applications
• Able to organize and prioritize tasks
• Able to learn and apply new skills until proficient in basic technical competencies
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, including ability to problem solve
• Knowledge of food safety requirements and HACCP
• Experience with CMMS system
• Experience with conveying and packaging equipment

Qualifications

• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
• Ability to work a rotating schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work a machine-paced continuous process that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• Ability to perform work at a computer and other administrative/managerial tasks

Pay

Starting range for this position is $27.00 - $29.00, with additional earning potential possible commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The position involves working a rotating schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as a machine-paced continuous process that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
