Maintenance Technician - HVAC/Mechanical - 2nd Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain & fix all production equipment associated within the department to prevent and maintain HVAC, mechanical & electrical breakdowns, following safety & quality standards.
• Aid others in electrical repair in a manufacturing plant.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED Required
• 2+ years of maintenance and/or HVAC related experience
• Must have a confirmed understanding of HVAC installation and construction, AC/DC motor drives, gearboxes, hydraulics & pneumatics systems, chillers, and cooling towers.
• Able to move up to 50 lbs.
• Perform area housekeeping duties

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be aware of potential exposure to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; and high noise areas.

Environmental Conditions

• Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
• Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc. allowed
• Cold Room/Freezers -22degreesF/-6degrees C, Fluctuating Temps hot/cold
• Laboratory Setting, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery)
• No contact lens allowed; prescriptive glasses will be provided
• Office, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)
• Standing for full shift
• Strong Odors (chemical, lubricants, biological products etc.)
• Various outside weather conditions
• Warehouse, Will work with hazardous/toxic materials
• Working at heights

Pay

$26-$32/hr + 10% Shift Differential

Work Schedule

Second Shift - Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm
