Maintenance Technician (Hourly)

About the Role

Responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operations, maintenance, and repairs of building systems
• Respond to service requests such as lighting, plumbing, electrical, and door/lock repairs
• Perform repairs or replacements of electrical fixtures, plumbing fixtures, and general maintenance tasks like carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs
• Support preventive maintenance, equipment installation, and safety inspections
• Order parts, maintain inventory, and coordinate with contractors
• Inspect buildings for issues, unsafe conditions, and malfunctions
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with regulations
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and perform other assigned duties

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Entry-level position with no prior experience required
• Mechanical aptitude, customer service, decision-making, and communication skills
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Preferred computer skills
• Valid driver’s license required for certain locations
