Maintenance Technician - Full Time

About the role

Maintenance Technician responsible for repairing and maintaining industrial equipment, with a focus on material handling equipment (MHE), electrical systems, lighting, dock doors, and plates.

Responsibilities

  • Manage MHE repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance per manufacturer guidelines.
  • Install and repair electrical and lighting systems, dock equipment.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, calibrations, and inspections.
  • Log work and materials into computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Interpret plans, schematics, manuals, and instructions.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment and with outside contractors.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, with 1+ years of relevant experience or 4 years of direct industrial maintenance experience.
  • Technical diploma or associate's degree a plus.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, lifts, and other equipment.
  • Strong communication skills to follow instructions and complete reports.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 60 lbs, and perform manual tasks regularly.
