Join our team as a Maintenance Technician and provide exceptional service to our residents while working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor.

About the role

This is a full-time, career-track position that reports directly to the Property Manager. With dedication and uncompromised service, this role offers a promotion path to Maintenance Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Perform technical maintenance repairs independently, covering plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning, appliances, and other property aspects as needed.
  • Complete apartment turnover maintenance within three to five business days, including:
    • Installation of blinds
    • Changing filters and replacing bulbs
    • Replacing drip pans and door stoppers
    • Caulking and other miscellaneous repairs
  • Maintain common areas through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, pressure washing, and cleaning windows.
  • Monitor building exteriors for issues with roof, siding, shutters, etc.
  • Help maintain an effective preventive maintenance program for your area of responsibility.
  • Ensure the safe condition of all equipment and structures within your expertise.
  • Enter newly purchased tools or equipment into inventory.
  • Keep work areas clean and orderly.
  • Observe all safety rules.
  • Be available for on-call hours.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and proof of automobile insurance coverage.
  • EPA certification preferred; if required at a specific property, certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.

  • Maintenance experience and knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects.
