Join our team as a Maintenance Technician and provide exceptional service to our residents while working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor.
About the role
This is a full-time, career-track position that reports directly to the Property Manager. With dedication and uncompromised service, this role offers a promotion path to Maintenance Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Perform technical maintenance repairs independently, covering plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning, appliances, and other property aspects as needed.
- Complete apartment turnover maintenance within three to five business days, including:
- Installation of blinds
- Changing filters and replacing bulbs
- Replacing drip pans and door stoppers
- Caulking and other miscellaneous repairs
- Maintain common areas through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, pressure washing, and cleaning windows.
- Monitor building exteriors for issues with roof, siding, shutters, etc.
- Help maintain an effective preventive maintenance program for your area of responsibility.
- Ensure the safe condition of all equipment and structures within your expertise.
- Enter newly purchased tools or equipment into inventory.
- Keep work areas clean and orderly.
- Observe all safety rules.
- Be available for on-call hours.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and proof of automobile insurance coverage.
- EPA certification preferred; if required at a specific property, certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
