About the role
Produce Innovations/Loffredo Fresh Foods is seeking Maintenance Technicians 1 and 3 for their food processing plant in Norwalk, IA. The company values its employees and is dedicated to providing a supportive and innovative work environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot basic equipment and machinery
- Perform daily equipment rounds and basic equipment functions
- Unjam equipment and perform general DIY maintenance tasks
- Test control cabinet lights and perform basic equipment inspections
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and adhere to safety protocols
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment issues
- Perform electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical tracing and machine analysis
- Troubleshoot refrigeration systems, VFDs, and equipment leaks
- Perform basic welding and advanced equipment troubleshooting
Requirements
- Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with hand and power tools
- Experience with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose equipment malfunctions
- OSHA 10 certification or the ability to obtain certification
Qualifications
- Entry-level maintenance position for Maintenance Technician 1
- Highly skilled maintenance professional for Maintenance Technician 3
Skills
- Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with hand and power tools
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose equipment malfunctions
- OSHA 10 certification or the ability to obtain certification

- Maintenance Technician 1: $19 - $21
- Maintenance Technician 3: $24 - $27
Schedule
- Hours: 2 PM till 11 PM
- Days Working: 2 schedules available Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday
