Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Examine machines to diagnose issues
- Dismantle machines, replace defective parts, reassemble machines and make necessary adjustments
- Repair CNC machines and/or robotics
- Occasionally make replacement parts
- Clean filters and perform general PM on coolant systems and mist collection components
- Change or add oils and lubricants to production equipment
- General cleaning and organization of tools and maintenance area
- Provide work training to less experienced maintenance staff
Skills and Experience Needed
- Ability to work under limited supervision with minimal technical guidance
- Effective communication with co-workers and supervisors
- Three years preventive industrial maintenance experience preferred, but not required
- Previous experience with CNC grinding, machining equipment, or HVAC a plus
- Basic hand tool proficiency
- Ability to lift 50 lbs+
