Maintenance Technician

Ryan Companies is hiring in Minneapolis, MN to provide building coverage and support to a class A property. This role ensures a safe, productive, comfortable, and clean working environment for building occupants and guests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property/building grounds, public areas, parking lots, and roof; remove debris on a daily basis; perform seasonal outside duties as required.
• Create work orders for deficiencies observed during walkthroughs.
• Maintain mechanical rooms and utility rooms in an organized and clean condition.
• Support maintenance schedules and complete assigned work orders.
• Respond to tenant requests.
• Assist and coordinate vendors with various services.
• Monitor and report slip and trip hazards.
• Conduct security checks of locked doors and restricted access points.
• Pressure-wash trash rooms and sidewalks.
• Replace lamps as required in a timely manner.
• Perform general repairs within reasonable expectation.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to provide concierge-level service when interacting with building occupants.
• High School Diploma or GED with the ability to perform general handyman repairs.
• Clear driving record, basic knowledge of computer applications, and ability to lift 100 lbs.
• Able to work from a ladder, work overhead, detect smoke and other chemicals, and work outside in a variety of weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational or technical degree.
• Electrical, plumbing, and HVAC experience.
• Hospitality and customer service experience.

Pay

The rate is $27.00 - $32.00 per hour. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as location and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. The position may also be eligible for additional compensation, including commission and/or an incentive program.
