Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems.
  • Conduct inspections to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and plumbing problems.
  • Repair or replace faulty components, such as motors, switches, and valves.
  • Fabricate parts or components as needed.
  • Install, maintain, and repair low voltage and high voltage electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and ensure efficient operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and resolving maintenance issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Business/technical degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • One plus years’ experience in a manufacturing plant.
  • Working knowledge of large machine operation, construction of infrastructure.
  • Technical expertise in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, machining and electronics.
  • Able to provide clear and concise verbal instructions along with the ability to listen and ask questions to understand points made by others.
  • General computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and database systems.
  • Ability to read and apply information from plans, blueprints, work instructions and equipment manuals.
  • Demonstrate diagnostic problem solving techniques.
  • Show detail orientation, mathematical skills and mechanical abilities to diagnose and solve problems.
  • Display a demonstrated pattern of positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dedication.
  • Must have a valid drivers’ license.

Qualifications

Must be able to work on tall structures using a manlift, climb ladders and use safety harnesses.
