About the role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to ensure the community remains safe, clean, and well-maintained. This entry-level position involves general building maintenance, equipment upkeep, and grounds care, with a focus on floor cleaning, garbage disposal, and overall presentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Assist with general facility upkeep, including grounds and equipment
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness of floors and common areas
• Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities and repairs
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Experience in healthcare or residential care settings
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
