Maintenance Technician

About the role

Technical knowledge and experience with various maintenance tasks is required. The ideal candidate will have experience with air and water piping, basic electrical work, metalworking, and welding.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance of the building and machines to minimize breakdowns and defects.
• Troubleshoot defects: intervene quickly and find solutions for both minor and complex issues, with a focus on mechanical and hydraulic problems.
• Maintain machines.
• Work with air and water pipes, perform installations, repairs, and maintain piping systems.
• Basic electrical work: simple electrical connections and troubleshooting.
• Metalworking and welding to repair or improve parts or structures.

Requirements

• Independence and the ability to plan tasks and set priorities.
• Proactive attitude and problem-solving skills, with a focus on cost-saving measures.
• Good communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility.

Skills

Desired knowledge in technical systems, with the ability to work independently and purchase necessary materials, both locally and internationally, and evaluate repair options to provide advice on necessary purchases.
