Maintenance Technician

We have an opportunity for a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to join our Manitowoc, WI team. You will be responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and automated systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot robotic systems (e.g., FANUC, ABB) and automated equipment.
- Support integration of automation technologies including sensors, actuators, and PLCs.
- Perform diagnostics and calibration of robotic arms and vision systems.
- Install and maintain electrical panels, motor controls, and power distribution systems.
- Interpret and work from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Perform electrical safety checks and ensure compliance with NEC and OSHA standards.
- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Fabricate and install custom fixtures and tooling to support production.
- Maintain building systems including HVAC, lighting, and compressed air.
- Respond to maintenance requests from office and non-manufacturing areas.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and industrial automation.
- Experience with robotic systems and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and basic computer literacy.
- Welding, machining, or fabrication experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods in warm, humid conditions.
- Must be able to bend, kneel, crawl, and work in confined spaces.
- Comfortable working at heights and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Pay
The hourly pay for this role is: $38.00 to $44.00/hr + $1/hr shift premium. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
Schedule
2nd shift 2:00pm – 10:00pm Monday – Friday, 2hrs regular OT, more available (before shift or on weekends)
