Maintenance Technician

Key Job Responsibilities

• Performs repairs, troubleshoots mechanical systems, and completes preventative maintenance.
• Cleans and restores vacated apartments for new residents.
• Clears snow, ice, and leaves from sidewalks, walkways, steps, and driveways/parking spaces.
• Completes janitorial tasks according to the schedule.
• Responds to on-call emergencies on weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Patrols the property daily to maintain cleanliness and address maintenance needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least two years of maintenance or construction experience.
• One year of experience as a full-charge residential maintenance technician preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations preferred.
• EPA certification preferred.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Ability to read, speak, and comprehend the English language.
• Proficiency in plumbing, electric, and machinery repair.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Hand tools.
• ANSI approved steel-toe shoes/composite.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and be on-call for emergencies.
• Willingness to assist with other properties and travel as needed.

Pay

$22.00 - $26.25 an hour, plus bonus potential.
