Responsibilities
- Facility & Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic repairs and general maintenance to keep facilities functional, safe, and in good working order
- Assist with basic plumbing, heating, cooling, and electrical repairs and installations
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions on production machines and material handling equipment
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to catch issues early
- Respond promptly to minor and major facility-related service requests and emergencies
- Open, close, and secure buildings and systems as required
- Safety & Compliance: Work with wastewater and hazardous chemicals in accordance with applicable codes and regulations
- Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment
- Team & Facility Support: Work as part of a team of technicians, taking direction from Supervisors and Management on priorities
- Operate forklifts, cranes, and other industrial equipment to assist with loading/unloading, including at elevated heights
- Use mechanical and electrical tools and testing equipment proficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools
- Track stock of basic maintenance supplies and notify Supervisor when restocking is needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a sheet metal environment; maintenance, mechanic, or similar experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of general maintenance in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with mechanical and electrical tools and testing equipment
- Ability to work independently or under supervision while managing multiple tasks efficiently
- Forklift operation experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver's license

Pay
Pay range: $26 to $27 an hour
Schedule
Hours: 6-2:30pm or 7-3:30pm
