Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair residential maintenance issues including plumbing, electrical, drywall, appliances, HVAC systems, and general carpentry repairs.
- Complete service requests efficiently while helping the team meet our resident-focused work order completion goals.
- Perform apartment make-readies, unit turns, and preventative maintenance projects.
- Support grounds maintenance, seasonal property upkeep, and snow removal activities as needed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests while delivering outstanding customer service to residents.
- Communicate professionally with residents, office staff, and teammates regarding repair status and community needs.
Requirements
- Active, valid driver's license and a personal vehicle.
- Ability to live within a 30-minute commute of the property.
- One or more years of apartment maintenance, residential maintenance, facilities maintenance, construction, or related trade experience.
- Working knowledge of drywall/sheetrock repair, plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, and general maintenance repairs.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a customer-service mindset.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, team-focused environment.
HVAC/EPA/CFC certification preferred but not required.

Pay
Base Pay: $22.00 – $24.00/Hr
Schedule
- Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Rotating on-call schedule approximately every 3–4 weeks as part of a community support team. Must be available to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies when on call.
Schedule subject to change based on business needs.
