Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Repair leaks, inspect, and dispose of defective cylinders
• Paint cylinders
• Test, repair, and convert cylinders with a focus on continuous improvement
• Receive new cylinders and supplies
• Operate a forklift to move product throughout the facility
• Perform general cleaning tasks and basic facility maintenance

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Gas industry and cylinder maintenance experience preferred
• Proficient in mechanical operations or skilled in mechanical tasks
• Knowledge of equipment such as hydrostatic and ultrasonic testers
• Maintain certification requirements for relevant equipment
• Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates personal ownership for safety and actively contributes to a strong safety culture
• Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift 40-70 pounds occasionally
• Willingness to work overtime
• Upholds high standards of honesty and integrity
• Contributes to a positive work environment where differences are valued and supported
• Strives for personal achievement and helps others attain results

Pay

$24.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.
