Maintenance Technician

About the role

You will maintain safety, quality, and compliance activities at customer installations through site inspections and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Install, start up, and decommission high-pressure and acetylene supply systems including compressors, purifiers, and filling manifolds
• Coordinate and perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance and adjustments on process equipment such as centrifugal and reciprocating compressors
• Monitor parts availability, replenish supplies, and manage physical inventory control
• Troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions and perform repairs efficiently
• Oversee contractor safety programs and the location’s Process Safety Mechanical Integrity Program
• Assist in developing and reviewing standard operating procedures to improve operational safety and efficiency
• Utilize hand and portable power tools while following safe working practices during equipment repair and maintenance

Requirements

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and compliance with company procedures, regulations, and industry standards
• Possess excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
• Show proficiency in troubleshooting, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs of industrial equipment
• Hold a forklift operator certification and demonstrate process understanding including process control schematic interpretation
• Use computers and Microsoft applications such as Outlook and Excel to support daily tasks
• Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate teamwork and clear information exchange
• Embrace self-directed learning to continuously improve skills and knowledge
