Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on industrial production and processing machinery, pipeline distribution systems, and conveyors.
• Diagnose and repair faults in electrical and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair Allen Bradley PLC systems.
• Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Work with bearings, conveying systems, gearboxes, and perform equipment rebuilds and repairs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, technical drawings, work orders, test results, and machine error messages.
• Monitor the condition of equipment and systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely.
• Respond promptly to any mechanical or electrical breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to optimize maintenance procedures and solutions.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Proven experience with Allen Bradley PLC and PLC troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical drawings.
• Experience with bearings, conveying systems, gearboxes, and equipment rebuilds and repairs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of physical fitness and ability to perform manual work.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including on-call and emergency response as needed.
• Safety-conscious with a strong understanding of health and safety regulations in the industrial environment.
