About the role
Atria Senior Living is seeking individuals for a career in maintenance and property management. Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare move-in-ready apartments
- Manage all maintenance needs
- Complete daily community inspections
- Perform various maintenance tasks
- Monitor and maintain mechanical equipment
- Partner with contractors/subcontractors
- Organize maintenance storage and mechanical rooms
- Ensure compliance with laws
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist in preparing move-in ready apartments
- Manage all maintenance needs of the community
- Complete daily community inspections
- Perform various maintenance tasks
- Monitor and maintain mechanical equipment
- Partner with contractors/subcontractors
- Organize maintenance storage and mechanical rooms
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and provincial laws
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two (2) years of hands-on maintenance experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
- Three (3) years of multi-family property management or other building maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic skills, including measurement
- Demonstrated ability to use independent judgment and discretion
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate standard office equipment
- Ability to transport up to 50 pounds variable distances
- Experience in carpet cleaning and upholstery cleaning
- Familiarity with Lock Out/Tag Out procedures
- Valid driver's license
- Compliance with Company motor vehicle policy standards
Qualifications
- Ability to drive company vehicle (if required)
- Act as a manager on duty as required
- May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned
