We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to maintaining an elegant, safe estate. The Maintenance Technician ensures proper inspection, service, repair, and upkeep of essential and non-essential building components, vehicles, tools, and machinery.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, service, and repairs on electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, general interior/exterior, vehicle, light refrigeration, and tool/machinery systems.
- Forecast and address maintenance issues to minimize guest inconvenience and ensure safety.
- Use and maintain miscellaneous hand tools for minor repairs.
- Provide a clean and safe work environment during and after tasks.
- Maintain a valid Driver’s License and communicate with third-party vendors, including emergency contacts.
- Electrical tasks: troubleshoot and replace light bulbs, dimmer switches, timers, receptacles, GFCIs, breakers, fixtures, ballasts, drivers, and lamp sockets; inspect and change elements/fuses in hot water heaters; conduct preventive maintenance including EM generator testing.
- Plumbing tasks: repair/replace fixtures (toilets, faucets, valves, hose bibs, hot tub components, vacuum switches); rod drains, plunge toilets/sinks, solder, braise, repair PVC, replace valves/pumps, and replace water filters; conduct preventive maintenance on hot water heaters, pumps, septic systems, and potable water stations.
- General maintenance: repair doors/windows, locks, furniture, ceiling tiles, millwork; install pictures/paintings; perform limited kitchen appliance, floor, and wall tile repair; repair general fixtures.
- Inspect and perform limited repair of exterior and roof components.
- Golf cart maintenance: troubleshoot, repair, and replace tires, lights, and cart chargers.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain regular attendance.
- Collaborate with team members, managers, and interact professionally with guests.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational courses related to the position preferred.
- Clear communication skills for management, team members, and guests.
- Basic math knowledge and understanding.
- Ability to troubleshoot systems to minimize downtime and exercise good judgment in decision-making.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
- Ability to work long hours and safely operate golf carts or company vehicles.
Pay
Pay Range: $19.00–$25.00 per hour. Starting compensation is based on experience, skills, and other job-related factors.
Schedule
Seasonal position from May through November, with potential for year-round employment based on performance and business needs.
