Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

  • Performs general and specialized maintenance tasks across various trades, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, and painting.
  • Provides exceptional customer service to residents, employees, and vendors, maintaining positive and respectful interactions.
  • Plans, prioritizes, and executes maintenance work independently or collaboratively within the department, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and proper equipment use.
  • Works with blueprints and drawings, assists with snow removal, and participates in on-call duties.
  • Follows safety protocols and universal precautions.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, vocational training, and at least two years of trade experience or four years in building maintenance.
  • A valid Connecticut driver’s license.
