Maintenance Technician

FUJIFILM Electronic Materials, U.S.A., Inc., is a global leader in chemical solutions which enable the semiconductor industry and the digital universe. We have an exciting opportunity at our North Kingstown, RI facility for a Maintenance Technician II!
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, agitators, compressors, piping systems, and process equipment.
- Assist with basic instrumentation troubleshooting such as sensors, switches, and control devices.
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and system upgrades.
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation in the CMMS system.
- Participate in reliability and continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment performance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical school, trade certification, or associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.
- 2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in chemical, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, or manufacturing environments.
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to diagnose problems using preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
- Familiar with various types of piping systems, plumbing, ductwork, regulators, gauges, and pneumatic/electrical-operated valves.
- Basic fabrication skills using power tools, grinders, drill press, milling machine, and band saw.
- Knowledge of pumps and troubleshooting methods, disassembly, rebuilding, repair and installation.
- Familiarity with industrial maintenance practices and preventive maintenance programs.
- Experience using maintenance management systems (CMMS) preferred.
