The Role

Fogelman is seeking a Certified Maintenance Technician for Autumn Park Apartments in the Charlotte area. This position offers competitive pay, an on-call stipend, and opportunities for professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Complete maintenance service requests and repairs as assigned.
  • Manage and maintain supplies and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Participate in the "on call" rotation and respond to emergencies.
  • Adhere to company safety policies.
  • Occasionally lift and move heavy objects.
  • Work in various weather conditions.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of maintenance experience.
  • HVAC certification (Type 1 & 2 or Universal).
  • Proficiency in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and appliance repair.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of property systems.
  • A valid driver's license and auto insurance may be required.

Qualifications

  • Three years of experience in apartment maintenance preferred.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.
  • Working knowledge of property systems such as Yardi, Entrata, and HappyCo.
  • Strong sensory skills, including good eyesight, hearing, and ability to comprehend and speak.
