Responsibilities
- Aid in setting up ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems.
- Conduct repairs when necessary for heating and plumbing systems.
- Inspect and schedule repairs for alarm systems (fire, protection).
- Perform manual repairs as needed (e.g., fixing locks, replacing windows).
- Carry out pest control activities such as spraying insecticide.
- Undertake general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned.
- Keep grounds and landscaping in excellent condition.
- Assist in budget preparation and ensure its adherence.
- Mow, weed eat, and trim hedges.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment.
Requirements
- Physically capable of manual labor including lifting, bending, and reaching.
- Positive attitude and willingness to lead and work as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
- High value placed on doing a good job and self-supervisory skills.
- Basic understanding of plumbing and other systems.
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Building maintenance technology or relevant field preferred.
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) desired.
