Maintenance Technician
About the role
Festival Foods is a Wisconsin grocer dedicated to community service and guest satisfaction. We operate over 40 full-service supermarkets throughout Wisconsin. This position is within the Maintenance department, reporting to the Maintenance Market Lead.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance for all stores in assigned region
- Conduct inspections, repairs, and services per assigned schedule and policies
- Complete all tasks according to company safety policies
- Notify managers of any safety or liability concerns
- Handle maintenance requests and Verisae work orders
- Participate in in-store remodel projects
- Maintain a neat, clean uniform and professional conduct
- Make decisions based on information provided
Qualifications
- Proficient in one or more areas of general maintenance including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, light carpentry and construction
- 1-3 years education or equivalent job experience in related field
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Good communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office
- Organized, professional, resourceful, proactive, reliable, and attentive to detail
- Ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel
- Ability to lift stock and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to operate equipment and have fine finger and broad manual dexterity
