Here’s What You Will Be Doing

As an integral member of the Facilities Team, this position involves:

• Managing day-to-day facility operations and maintenance across multiple sites within an expansive geographic area
• Efficiently handling a substantial volume of service requests, prioritizing tasks to ensure prompt resolution
• Collaborating with facilities management and operations teams to assess facility requirements and project planning
• Supervising facility maintenance contracts and overseeing preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
• Administering the facility work order system, ensuring timely assignment and completion of all work orders
• Serving on a rotating on-call schedule for facility issues once a month
• Serving as the primary contact for vendors and contractors, managing vendor relationships and ensuring contract compliance and service delivery
• Accurately inputting and tracking data in the work order system to monitor service requests and assign tasks to the appropriate providers
• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, ice machines, electrical systems, and plumbing fixtures
• Conducting preventative maintenance tasks to ensure all equipment is functioning efficiently and safely
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with equipment and systems to identify and implement solutions
• Coordinating with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and installations
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory
• Responding promptly to emergency maintenance requests
• Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines
• Undertaking additional responsibilities as delegated

Education & Experience You Will Need

• Proven experience in HVAC, refrigeration, ice machines, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance, and repair
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance best practices
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training preferred
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
• Capability to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments

Pay & Schedule

Salary range: $27-$35 per hour
