Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain facility equipment and machinery.
- Assemble and disassemble machines to identify defects, perform repairs, replace parts, and clean components as needed.
- Perform duties involving receiving, storing, packing, inspecting, assembling, reworking, and palletizing components and finished products.
- Operate die-cutting and strip-cutting machinery according to customer specifications for materials.
- Read, interpret, inspect, and validate dimensions for accuracy.
- Maintain facility and grounds by performing general duties such as emptying trash, lawn care, and equipment maintenance.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and conduct regular facility inspections.
- Operate hand or power trucks and tools for stowing, stacking, or preparing shipments.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Good manual dexterity and physical condition, with the ability to work with small parts.
- Reading and math skills typically acquired through a high school education.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design schematics.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- May be assigned duties of another classification for up to 50% of any workweek, provided the employee has the knowledge and skill to perform them safely.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- 1 year of experience preferred.
- Must successfully pass required training, including certification to operate forklifts and tow motors.
- Must possess a valid, compliant driver’s license.
- A positive attitude and ability to collaborate with team members.
- Successful completion of a background screening process is required.
- May need to satisfy additional job-related requirements, including those established by third parties.
Physical and Mental Demands
- Visual acuity for tasks such as preparing data, transcribing documents, reading, inspecting objects, and operating machinery.
- Pushing, pulling, balancing, manual dexterity, stooping, grasping, and reaching.
- Feeling objects to perceive size, shape, and texture.
- Lifting objects up to 50 pounds or more.
- Climbing ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, or poles.
- Walking, hearing, repetitive motions, talking, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Capacity to think, concentrate, and focus over long periods.
- Ability to read and write complex documents in English.
- Capacity to express thoughts orally and make sound decisions.
- Ability to wear protective equipment such as masks, respirators, or bulletproof vests.
- Ability to perform all job functions at the company’s office or work site.
- Ability to withstand environmental conditions such as extreme heat or cold, wind, sand, fumes, odors, gases, or extreme noise.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $41,760 - $62,640 annually. Final offer amounts may vary based on experience and geographic location.
