Maintenance Technician

About the role

As a Jr Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities include:

• Maintain and repair the facility as scheduled
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Technician to uphold the structural integrity and overall upkeep of the building
• Handle cleaning duties for both the interior and exterior areas of the property, along with landscaping tasks (if needed)

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of grounds, parking lots, and common areas
• Repair minor issues in buildings and foundations, including roofs, ceilings, walls, floors, basements, and mechanical systems
• Sweep, mop, buff, and vacuum all floors as required
• Ensure cleanliness of management offices, clubrooms, kitchens, common areas, and bathrooms as necessary
• Regularly empty all trash cans on a daily basis and dispose of waste in designated areas
• Conduct daily garbage collection around the property
• Assist the maintenance team with tasks such as painting and fulfilling work orders as needed
• Utilize a range of skills including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, and more to conduct maintenance, repairs, and preventative measures

Requirements

• At least 2 years of maintenance technician experience
• Knowledge of basic maintenance (painting, carpentry, drywall, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Computer literacy required
• Landscape and cleaning experience helpful
• A valid and current driver’s license is required for this position
