Maintenance Technician
What You’ll Do
- Promote a safeworking environment by following all safety procedures.
- Solve electrical andmechanical issues related to all MHE, including belts, motors, photo-eyes,relays, and more.
- Install, maintain,and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
- Complete andproperly document preventative maintenance routines.
- Track and storedepartment inventory.
- Cultivate positiveworking relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance teammembers.
- Perform otherjob-related duties as needed or assigned.
What You’ll Need
- High school diplomaor general education degree (GED).
- 1 year of relatedexperience and/or training.
- Proficiency usingcomputers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Experience usingpowered or non-powered hand tools.
- Ability to solveproblems and carry out general instructions in standard situations such as;routine maintenance, repairs, preventative measures, emergency responses,coordination, and safety compliance.
- Ability to moveupto 50lbs and physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, andclimbing stairs / ladders with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s orhigher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in themechanical or electrical field.
- 2+ yearsapprenticeship or equivalent experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulicand pneumatic systems.
- Experience withMHE safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) andSafety standards.
- Experience witha Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- 2+ years' experiencewith automated conveyor systems and controls.
- 2+ years' experienceconducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
- 2+ years ofblueprint and electrical schematic reading.
- 2+ yearsof knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.
- 2+ years ofexperience following and demonstrating safety standards.
- 2+ years ofexperience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems.
