Maintenance Technician

About the role

The role involves performing various maintenance tasks in residential properties, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs. The technician must ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency repairs on plumbing systems
• Install and repair electrical fixtures and appliances
• Oversee HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance
• Document all work performed and maintain records
• Communicate effectively with property managers and residents

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• At least 2 years of related experience in home maintenance or similar field
• First aid certification

Qualifications

• Proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Skills

• Basic knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
• Experience with common tools and equipment used in home maintenance
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office

Pay
