Maintenance Technician

About the Role

Reporting to the Shop Superintendent, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of buildings, grounds, machines, and assets at the Appleton & Green Bay facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently operate hand and power tools.
  • Adhere to all appropriate OSHA regulations.
  • Work alongside production employees and contractors.
  • Support troubleshooting of pumps, 440v 3-phase electrical systems, motors, drives, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Identify necessary parts for maintenance needs and report to Shop Superintendent.
  • Read and understand standard prints and instructions.
  • Execute preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Willingness to work off-schedule shifts to execute urgent maintenance needs.
  • Perform other maintenance, housekeeping, painting, and miscellaneous tasks as needed or directed by supervision.
  • Proficiently perform all tasks with or without supervision.
  • Use computer skills (Word/Excel).

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of relevant manufacturing-related mechanical or millwright experience, or 2 years of technical training preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude skills.
  • General knowledge of PLC controls, motor controls, and HVAC (a plus).
  • Clear drug screen and background check.
