About the Role
Reporting to the Shop Superintendent, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of buildings, grounds, machines, and assets at the Appleton & Green Bay facilities.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate hand and power tools.
- Adhere to all appropriate OSHA regulations.
- Work alongside production employees and contractors.
- Support troubleshooting of pumps, 440v 3-phase electrical systems, motors, drives, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Identify necessary parts for maintenance needs and report to Shop Superintendent.
- Read and understand standard prints and instructions.
- Execute preventative maintenance schedules.
- Willingness to work off-schedule shifts to execute urgent maintenance needs.
- Perform other maintenance, housekeeping, painting, and miscellaneous tasks as needed or directed by supervision.
- Proficiently perform all tasks with or without supervision.
- Use computer skills (Word/Excel).
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of relevant manufacturing-related mechanical or millwright experience, or 2 years of technical training preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude skills.
- General knowledge of PLC controls, motor controls, and HVAC (a plus).
- Clear drug screen and background check.
