Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and perform preventive and reactive maintenance duties for manufacturing operations.
  • Manage and execute Preventive Maintenance schedules.
  • Repair equipment to maintain maximum production rates.
  • Maintain an adequate spare parts inventory.
  • Work 40+ hours per week, weekends as required, and fulfill on-call duties for repairs and assistance.
  • Communicate unsafe conditions, acts, or injuries to Plant Manager.
  • Maintain facility housekeeping.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment not operating properly.
  • Effectively manage UPTIME performance.
  • Ensure equipment is kept in proper and safe working condition.
  • Direct and perform scheduled Preventive Maintenance duties.
  • Communicate with all plant personnel.
  • Assist with ADS support service team projects.
  • Understand and practice ADS CORE VALUES.

Job Skills

  • Basic industrial mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and pneumatic skills including troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of ADS manufacturing process including troubleshooting.
  • Inventory management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with and communicate to other plant personnel.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Understanding of purpose and proper use of small hand and power tools.
  • Strong time management and task prioritization skills.
  • Self-motivation.

Requirements

  • Educational Requirements: High School/Vocational School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior Experience: 3-5 years experience as ADS line operator or similar training and experience.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy items, stand and be mobile for a minimum of 8 continuous hours, work in temperature extremes, and handle materials daily.

Qualifications

  • Practice proper PPE compliance and maintain a safe working record and environment.
  • Immediately communicate unsafe conditions, acts, or injuries to Plant Manager.
  • Practice proper forklift operation and preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain facility housekeeping.
  • Build job skills through company training programs.
