This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office in Auburn, AL.

About the role

The Couplings Division of the Industrial Powertrain Solutions Segment is seeking a Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate repairs and maintains machinery and production equipment, installs functional and structural parts within the facility, and performs preventative maintenance on production equipment and machinery. The role involves troubleshooting, testing, lubricating, and cleaning equipment, as well as operating a wide variety of power, pneumatic, and hand tools, along with precision measuring devices and test equipment. The employee is trained cross-functionally in both mechanical and electrical trades.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain production machinery throughout the facility
  • Perform all facility (structural) maintenance and repairs
  • Execute and close work orders in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records, including equipment history, PM schedules, and downtime logs
  • Prepare reports as required by management
  • Comply with all safety procedures (e.g., lock out/tag out, fall prevention, lift equipment safety, confined space entry)
  • Perform housekeeping duties as required
  • Maintain a constant state of alertness
  • Ensure regular and predictable attendance
  • Work cooperatively with co-workers

Requirements

  • Post-high school education with emphasis on industrial trades, mechanical, and electrical
  • 3 years of experience in industrial mechanical/electrical maintenance
  • Experience with lift equipment and analytical test equipment
  • Proficiency with precision measuring devices (e.g., micrometers, calipers, tape measures)
  • Computer skills, including CNC and PLC
  • High school-level math and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industrial electrical and mechanical skills
  • Experience with a wide variety of hand, power, and pneumatic tools
  • Ability to read and interpret PNID drawings

Work Environment

The role involves frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the manufacturing environment is usually loud, while the general office environment is quieter.
