Maintenance Tech | Luxury High-Rise | Downtown Austin

About the role

We're looking for a dependable and service-oriented Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day maintenance operations of a luxury condominium community. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role plays a key part in keeping common areas and residential units operating smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on skills who enjoys variety and takes pride in quality work.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs in common areas and residential units
• Handle entry-level tasks including light plumbing, basic electrical work, painting, drywall patching, carpentry, and lock repairs
• Assist with HVAC-related tasks such as filter replacement and basic inspections
• Serve as backup support to the Maintenance Supervisor when required
• Assist with move-ins and move-outs by preparing common areas and assisting with logistics
• Escort vendors and contractors, operate freight elevators as needed, and conduct walkthroughs before and after work is completed
• Assist with general building upkeep, porter duties, and package handling when needed

Requirements

• General maintenance experience or strong mechanical aptitude
• Willingness to be on-call or respond to after-hours emergencies
• Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills
• Reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment

Pay rate: $25 - $26

Schedule

Schedule: Full-Time | Saturday/Sunday/Monday/Thursday/Friday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm | Tuesdays and Wednesdays off | *Availability to cover extra shifts if needed*
