Description

The Maintenance Technician III role at Smurfit Westrock, located in Lithia Springs, GA, supports the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and production systems. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving automated production equipment in a fast-paced packaging environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 to 6 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting automated production equipment and manufacturing machinery.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting experience on manufacturing equipment, including motor starters, relays, contactors, drives, motors, industrial wiring, and electrical schematics.
• Ability to safely use electrical meters and diagnostic equipment.
• Mechanical repair experience including bearings, shafts, belts, chains, sprockets, conveyors, motors, and gearboxes.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read and follow machine manuals, maintenance procedures, and technical documentation.
• Ability to supply and maintain personal tools and toolbox.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and respond to equipment issues as needed.
