About the role

MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY: SECOND SHIFT: 230PM -11PM

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, facility systems, and material handling equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using appropriate tools and diagnostic methods.
• Inspect, test, and maintain facility infrastructure including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and building components.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment performance within the maintenance management system.
• Monitor and manage maintenance parts inventory; assist in ordering, tracking, and restocking materials as needed.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to plan, schedule, and prioritize maintenance tasks and projects.
• Train, mentor, and support the development of Maintenance Technician I and II team members by providing hands-on instruction, troubleshooting guidance, and coaching on preventive maintenance, safety procedures, and equipment repair best practices.
• Absorb and support installation, modification, and upgrading of new and existing equipment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirements.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize downtime and support production operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
• Minimum of 6+ years of industrial, facility, or conveyor maintenance experience.
• Experience with conveyor systems, material handling equipment, and building systems preferred.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to operate power tools, diagnostic equipment, and forklifts safely.
