About the role
This position assumes advanced tasks relating to production machines, including troubleshooting, analyzing equipment, and making necessary repairs with minimal oversight. The Maintenance Technician II is encouraged to develop daily goals and strategies to ensure all equipment runs effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular inspections and repairs on production equipment.
- Assist in machine repairs and train others in machine repairs.
- Work efficiently with the work order system (EAM) to document repairs and preventive maintenance throughout the plant.
- Set up new equipment, troubleshoot using specialty tools, and determine the most effective repair methods.
- Perform light repairs and daily housekeeping in work areas.
- Provide feedback to supervisors on maintenance status and submit end-of-shift reports daily via email.
- Use basic machinist skills with a vertical mill and lathe.
- Interpret blueprints and part drawings to perform maintenance tasks.
- Maintain a basic understanding of welding and fabrication.
- Keep a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of three years of related experience and/or training.
- Ability to obtain forklift and aerial lift platform licenses.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management software and Microsoft Software Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
An Associate’s degree in a related technical field is strongly preferred.

Schedule
Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM–1:30 AM.
