About the role
To strengthen our motivated Maintenance Team at our Charlotte, NC plant, we are looking for a Maintenance Tech/Electrician on 1st shift.
Responsibilities
- Make critical decisions for the repair of mechanical and electrical issues
- Conducts mechanical/electrical repairs
- Performs preventtive maintenance on all equipment
- Researches part numbers for various machines
- Applies concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical solutions
Requirements
- A minimum of at least 2 years certificate from a Technical school in Industrial Technology
- 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment
Qualifications
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment
- Experience with preventive maintenance procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Strong attention to detail
