Maintenance Tech

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will be based in Burkburnett, TX and will be responsible for maintaining plant equipment, utilities, and grounds to ensure safe and efficient plant operation through repair, fabrication, and installation of new equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Facility Manager to establish a program to eliminate downtime in trouble areas.
• Repair production equipment safely and as quickly as possible after a breakdown.
• Work on assigned projects.
• Fabricate and install new equipment.
• Maintain machinery according to Preventative Maintenance Program.
• Troubleshoot equipment.
• Utilize safe work habits.
• Wear appropriate PPE.
• Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Background in mechanical and electrical repair with use of shop tools.
• 2-5 years of general industrial maintenance preferred.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical prints.
• Ability to work overtime and shift work as required.
• Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, Repetitive Movement up to 12 hours daily.
• Lifting and Push/Pull weights up to 50 lbs. regularly.
