Maintenance Tech-Assisted Living

Responsibilities

• General maintenance and repair of both exterior and interior of the building
• Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of HVAC units, fire and sprinkler equipment, generator, landscaping of grounds, kitchen equipment, basic plumbing and electrical work as needed
• Ensure repairs and maintenance requests by residents are completed in a timely manner
• Ensure vacated rooms are painted, cleaned and ready for new residents

Qualifications

• Maintenance Technicians will maintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on, but not limited to: HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generators, landscape, kitchen equipment and emergency pull cord equipment.
• Perform general maintenance projects as scheduled or assigned
• Respond to maintenance requests by community directors and residents in both private rooms and public living areas
• Maintain positive communication with local fire marshal, building inspector and any other jurisdictions governing the community

About the Role

Brookdale Punta Gorda is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician with previous assisted living experience to join their team. Pay

Base pay in the range will be determined by the applicant's skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company's 401(k) program.
