Maintenance Tech Assistant - 3rd shift

About the role

NOVO Health Services provides linen management solutions to healthcare facilities, focusing on safety and infection control. This 3rd shift Maintenance Tech Assistant position is based at the Ravenna, OH healthcare facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing repairs, adjustments, overhauls, and preventative maintenance tasks on laundry and boiler room equipment.
• Assist industrial maintenance techs to repair, modify, or make new parts for any mechanical equipment.
• Visually analyze blueprints, shop drawings, and work out mathematical problems pertaining to each trade.

Requirements

• Experience in mechanical, welding, carpentry, plumbing, pneumatics, steam, and hydraulics preferred.
• Math, reading, and writing skills.
• Electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, steam, hydraulics, and welding skills.
• Good attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Repetitive stooping, forward bending, and crouching.
• Manual dexterity.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Computer literacy preferred.

Pay

Competitive hourly rate based on qualifications and experience.

Schedule

3rd shift works 10 pm–6 am, Sunday‑Saturday on a rotating day‑off schedule; overtime is paid at double the rate for all hours over 40 per week.
