About The Role
- Install and maintain facility equipment and machinery under minimal supervision.
- Run diagnostic tests to check system functionality.
- Use power and hand tools to install new systems and replace defective parts.
- Repair devices, lasers, robotic fixtures, paint equipment, assemble models, air compressors, and general facility components.
- Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Read, interpret, and follow instructions and operation manuals.
- Follow all Company safety rules and regulations, including LOTO, and wear all required PPE.
- Accurately perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly preventative maintenance on plant equipment and machinery as required.
- Mentor and/or train existing and/or new maintenance employees.
- Perform any other duties as assigned or directed by Team Leader / Supervisor.
- Maintain good housekeeping and follow established safety procedures.
- Maintain awareness of individual contribution to and impact of the quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; report all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.
What You’ll Bring
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification or equivalent experience in mechanical field preferred.
- 4 years’ prior maintenance experience preferred.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Ability to stand and/or walk, bend, stoop, or crouch for at least an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel machinery, equipment, or parts and work near moving mechanical parts.
- Knowledge of current OSHA and ANSI standards.
- Preferred knowledge of computers, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.
- Ability to accurately use, read, and understand various precision instruments.
- Able to work in a fast-paced working environment with accuracy and integrity.
- Able to work in a team environment and interface with a diverse workforce.
