Responsibilities
- Maintains all equipment and facilities.
- Performs all PM checks and procedures as scheduled.
- Affixes to all Multimatic New Haven Safety practices, policies & procedures.
- Machine diagnostics/trouble-shooting & repair.
- Machine installation & set up procedures.
- Welding & fabrication as needed.
- Preventative maintenance (PM’s) procedures related to all manufacturing equipment.
- Completes and turns in all maintenance related documentation including but not limited to daily log sheets for TPM’s and all required Control Plans and Downtime logs.
- Covers with other resources (Supervisors/Managers) time, material and equipment required to perform necessary work as needed.
- Self-driven; with minimal supervision.
- Affixes all hands tools to perform the job.

- Education and/or Experience: Associate degree in a technical field and/or other related formal course work or equivalent years of experience in this or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Demonstrated computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
- 1 - 3 years’ experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical & welding.
- Excellent trouble-shooting/problem solving skills & experience.
- Language Skills: Ability to read and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Reasoning Abilities: Ability to solve practical problems and seal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
